Projects

EVERYWHERE

Build A Rocket Boy

EVERYWHERE was a live service multiplayer game in which the users could create, upload and play their own content.

Mindseye

Build A Rocket Boy

Mindseye is a AAA, third person, cover shooter which incorporates UGC elements into the game.

Build / Play Mindseye

Build A Rocket Boy

Build / Play Mindseye is a UGC tool built into the Mindseye game, it allowed users to create, share and play their own content; including content that could be created and spawned into the games map.

QA

As EVERYWHERE was a live service game, the process for QA was different to that of Mindseye. My team and I had to detect and diagnose issues quickly and effectively.

QA

Mindseye is a AAA title meaning that it was a high intensity environment for all departments involved. I learnt how to thrive in this environment and my best work came from this time. I learnt a great deal from my co-workers and improved in my role from this experience.

Content Design

(OWE/UGC Content)

I created several ambient UGC scenes that can be found around the city of Redrock while it is in the martial law world state.

I had to balance performance, world building and visuals while creating these scenes.

Skills

Communication

I believe that the most important skill in the games industry is that of communication. The ability to speak with your team and other departments in an efficient manner is vital to a good workflow.

Jira and Testrail

As QA my work was conducted primarily using Jira and Testrail, I am proficient using both tools and had to apply my skills with them both on a daily basis.
